Abstract

Provinsi Kepulauan Riau memiliki potensi perikanan yang tinggi karena didominasi oleh wilayah perairan dibandingkan daratannya. Potensi perikanan yang tinggi tersebut diantaranya adalah komoditas rajungan. Pandemi covid-19 di seluruh dunia berpengaruh terhadap berbagai sektor, salah satunya sektor perikanan rajungan, sehingga informasi biologi (bioinformasi) dalam masa pandemi ini sangat bermanfaat untuk kegiatan perikanan rajungan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Bintan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan bioinformasi terkait rajungan dalam masa pandemi covid-19 di Kabupaten Bintan. Bioinformasi tersebut meliputi distribusi ukuran, pola pertumbuhan, nisbah kelamin jantan dan betina, serta tingkat kematangan gonad rajungan betina di perairan Kawal dan Pengujan. Ukuran lebar karapas rajungan di Kawal berkisar antara 102,2–187,9 mm dan ukuran lebar karapas rajungan di Pengujan berkisar antara 106,3–148,4 mm. Modus kelas lebar karapas ditemukan pada nilai tengah kelas 130 mm (di Kawal) dan 140 mm (di Pengujan). Pola pertumbuhan rajungan baik betina maupun jantan di Kawal dan Pengujan bersifat allometrik negatif. Berdasarkan uji chi square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05), nisbah kelamin rajungan jantan-betina secara umum baik di Kawal maupun di Pengujan pada kondisi yang seimbang. Tingkat kematangan gonad (TKG) pada rajungan betina secara keseluruhan ditemukan mulai dari stadia TKG 1 sampai stadia TKG 4. Di perairan Kawal ditemukan sebesar 67% matang gonad, 22% belum matang gonad, dan 11% berried female. Di perairan Pengujan ditemukan sebesar 31% matang gonad, 63% belum matang gonad, dan 6% berried female.

Abstract

Perikanan skala kecil di Kota Semarang memegang peranan penting, karena keseluruhan armada penangkapan yang ada merupakan skala kecil (< 10 GT). Namun keberadaannya kurang mendapat perhatian, karena kontribusi sektor perikanan terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kota Semarang tergolong kecil. Perkembangan jumlah unit penangkapan pada perikanan skala kecil di Kota Semarang setiap tahun selalu meningkat, sementara di sisi lain hasil tangkapan atau produksi perikanan mulai menurun sejak tahun 2017 sampai sekarang. Masih terdapatnya pengoperasian alat tangkap yang tidak ramah lingkungan, seperti halnya arad (sejenis pukat), dan implementasi dari kebijakan peraturan perundangan yang belum efektif menjadikan permasalahan perikanan skala kecil di Kota Semarang ini semakin kompleks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji elemen kebijakan strategis pengelolaan perikanan skala kecil di Kota Semarang berdasarkan elemen aktor, elemen kendala, elemen kebutuhan, dan elemen program agar berkelanjutan. Metode analisis data digunakan teknik Intrepretative Structural Modelling (ISM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat empat elemen sistem dalam kebijakan strategis pengelolaan perikanan skala kecil di Kota Semarang, yaitu elemen aktor, elemen kendala, elemen kebutuhan, dan elemen program. Aktor utama dalam pengelolaan perikanan skala kecil di Kota Semarang adalah nelayan dan Dinas Perikanan Kota Semarang dengan kendala utamanya, yaitu kelebihan kapasitas penangkapan, penurunan hasil tangkapan, penangkapan tidak ramah lingkungan dan regulasi belum efektif kebutuhan utamanya adalah perlunya konservasi sumberdaya ikan dan peningkatan pendapatan nelayan serta program utamanya, yaitu pembatasan alat tangkap tidak ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Small-scale fisheries in Semarang City have complex problems. In the existing condition, overcapacity and over-exploited have occurred. At the level of sustainability, each aspect of management (environment, fish resources, facilities and technology, socioeconomic, institutional and governance) is a challenge to achieve sustainable fisheries management in Semarang City. This study aims to formulate a sustainability strategy for small-scale fisheries management in Semarang City. The sustainability strategies for small-scale fisheries management in Semarang City that can be formulated are: (1) increasing efforts to conserve fish resources and ecosystems; (2) increasing the income and welfare of fishermen and poverty alleviation; (3) increase the productivity of capture fisheries; (4) improve law enforcement/fisheries regulations.

Abstract

Pantai Segara Kusamba, Klungkung, Bali merupakan pantai dengan hasil perikanan tangkap utamanya yaitu Ikan Tongkol. Tingginya kegiatan penangkapan Ikan Tongkol di Pantai Segara Kusamba harus diimbangi dengan manajemen yang tepat agar Sumber Daya Ikan Tongkol tetap lestari. Sehingga dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui status dari pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Perikanan Tongkol yang didaratkan di Pantai Segara Kusamba dengan pendekatan ekosistem pada domain sumber daya ikan. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan November 2019-Januari 2020. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan obeservasi secara langsung dan wawancara. Analisis data per masing-masing indikator dilakukan dengan pendekatan multi kriteria analisis kemudian penilaian indeks komposit dan divisualisasikan dengan model bendera. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa domain Sumber Daya Ikan Tongkol di Pantai Segara Kusamba mendapat model bendera berwarna hijau muda dengan status baik dan mendapat nilai komposit sebesar 69,43. Indikator tren ukuran ikan relatif tetap, indikator proporsi ikan yuwana sedang sebesar 44% dari total hasil tangkapan, indikator komposisi spesies 95% didominasi dengan Ikan Tongkol yang merupakan ikan target, indikator range collapse sumber daya ikan semakin sulit dalam menentukan daerah penangkapan, dan pada indikator spesies ETP yang tertangkap tidak ada spesies ETP yang mendarat di Pantai Segara Kusamba. Sehingga dapat memberikan saran pengelolaan perikanan tangkap berupa manajemen periode penangkapan, perbaikan ukuran mata jaring dan kerjasama yang lebih baik antara steakholder dengan nelayan agar tercipta Perikanan Tangkap Ikan Tongkol yang lebih baik di Pantai Segara Kusamba, Klungkung

Abstract

Potensi perikanan Karangasem sangat besar dikarenakan terdapat banyaknya sebaran kawasan perikanan tangkap skala kecil di sepanjang wilayah pesisir pantai Karangasem. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kondisi perikanan tangkap tongkol sekala kecil melalui status domain teknink penangkapan Ikan yang mengacu pada Pengelolaan Perikanan Berpendekatan Ekosistem (EAFM). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai komposit, status domain teknik penangkapan ikan di Desa Seraya Timur memperoleh skor 68,62. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa status EAFM domain teknik penangkapan ikan di Desa Seraya Timur tergolong kategori baik. Namun dari hasil penilaian tersebut masih terdapat dua indikator yang berstatus buruk. Hal ini disebabkan pada penilaian indikator modifikasi alat tangkap >50% hasil tangkapan ikan nelayan di Desa Seraya Timur berukuran dibawah Lm. Dan pada indikator Kapasitas Perikanan dan Upaya Penangkapan menunjukan kondisi yang telah overcapacity

Abstract

Solid waste disposed from land that enters the oceans through rivers that do not go through TPA and TPS facilities, is not officially managed, resulting in an uncontrolled and unmanaged. Efforts to reduce the volume of waste in several places are closely related to community behavior, an effort to raise awareness and increase understanding is needed to encourage behavioral change that is carried out in stages, either through promotion or dissemination or continuous campaigning. This study aims to determine the decisions of residents who live on the edge of the Ciadane river regarding their daily habit of disposing of garbage. The method used is a survey to the research location and data collection through interviews with a questionnaire guide. Questionnaires will be deployed to represent settlements around the river and villages that are traversed by the cisadane river. The research sample was taken randomly / representing residents who lived on the riverbank as many as 120 respondents to represent the upstream, middle and downstream areas. Identifying factors that influence the decision to dispose of waste into the river were analyzed using ordinal logistic regression. The results of the ordinal logistic regression test showed partial simultaneous selection of TPS availability factors, TPS conditions, the role of community leaders and the impact of river waste showed a significant positive effect on the factors that influence the behavior of throwing garbage into the Cisadane river.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has the largest marine wealth in the world with an area of 6.32 million waters with an accumulated coastline of 81,000 km and has a very large coral reef area as one of habitats for lobster. Lobsters live at a depth of 100-200 meters below sea level with a temperature of 20-30°C, with the distribution of lobsters in almost all Indonesian waters. One area of Indonesia’s center for lobster cultivation is West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The Directorate of Marine Spatial Planning designed a program scheme that was prepared to follow up on Lombok's lobster cultivation center, the lobster estate program or known as lobster cultivation village with blue economy principles. The core of sustainability which in development considering resources in the marine space characteristics that are vulnerable to environmental changes and open access - utilization that is open to the public and everyone can access it freely. Answering how conflicts of interest fight over marine space, it is necessary to pay attention to the relationship between space and the humans involved. This analysis is explained by using Levebvre's Socio-Spatial approach where space neutral and passive geometry. Space represents the site of struggle. In particular, the purpose paper is to add another point of view that already exists in reporting the detailed plan for marine aquaculture utilization zones. This article descriptive qualitative method. Results obtained preparation detailed spatial planning, consider the existence of conflict of interest contestations between stakeholders and accommodate conflicts of interest that may occur.

Abstract

The development of coastal ecosystem-based tourism in Gili Matra has been very massive and tends to exceed capacity. For this reason, it is necessary to review the existing ecosystem status in mapping out appropriate intervention strategies in tourist areas. The research during 2021 at 13 locations in Gili Matra aims to look at the pattern and status of the ecosystem for the preparation of tourism development intervention strategies. Data analysis includes descriptive and cluster analysis of the pattern of ecosystem structure, habitat, and resources. The results showed that 30.7% of hard coral cover was still in good condition, and 69.23% was in poor condition. The coral health index level is also with the same percentage value as coral cover. Meanwhile, fish species richness that exceeds 5 species reaches 61.53% and less than 5 species by 38.46%. The general conclusion is that coral reefs are under pressure, although fish biodiversity is still high. The intervention strategy is through efforts to increase coral coverage, and while fishing tourism activities must be managed properly, so as not to damage coral reefs and maintain the target fish population.
